Personality/Appearance:

Max is about 5'9" with long black hair and green eyes. His general appearance is usually dirty as he doesn't really have much of a desire or clue how to take care of himself. His hair is usually matted and hanging in his face. He sometimes pee's his pants or the bed, due to bladder damage from abuse. He is withdrawn, shy, sweet and childlike. He doesn't talk much, when he does he almost whispers. He makes sounds most of the time to express his feelings instead of putting them into words. He lacks social skills and doesnt really have any concept between right and wrong, sometimes acting purely on instinct. He sees nothing wrong with walking out of his room naked and occassionally touches himself in front of people not really having any idea that it's inappropriate. He is quick to offer sex having idea its wrong. He crings if touched, thinking he will be hit. If he feels threatened he may bite or hiss trying to defend himself. He tends to be little slow to learn some things and is sensitive about that. He still wants to trust people but is slow to do so. If someone shows him any affection he'll cling to it and them, becoming possessive, thinking someone will take them away.
Max associates sex with love, since he really doesn't know what love is. In his mind if someone is taking the time to have sex with him even if it hurts or he doesn't want it he believes that they must love him.

History/Background:

Max grew up in Las Vegas. When he was only 11 years old he witnessed his abusive parents kill his twin brother shortly after they dumped him off in front of the local orphanage in the middle of the night. He lived in a long string of abusive foster homes until he ran away at 14. He supported himself the only way he knew how, prostitution, he really didn't understand it what he was doing. He only lasted a few months on the streets before he was picked up. He was held until a thorough investigation to find his parents or any living relative was done. A wealthy aunt on his fathers side was found and she reluctantly took him in. Her and her husband treated Max worse than any of the homes he'd been in. They were embarrassed and disgusted by him. Not wanting there own children to know he existed, they kept him locked away in a small motor home behind the house. They abused him in every possible way and sold him for money, feeding him just enough to keep him alive. There was no air conditioning, heat or running water. He survived two years there before they decided to move. They decided to put him in a mental institution to rid themselves of him.
